Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, participants will understand basic mine ventilation and fan operating principles, network analysis, gas laws, ventilation surveying and monitoring, psychometry and heat stress, heating and refrigeration, regulations, economic and management strategies and approaches in providing healthy air for underground workers.
